    spreading circular foot, the domed hinged cover with scrolling thumb piece, the double scroll handle with ivory heat rings and matching detail top and base, fancy scroll framed shield armorial, the lid and base with matched hallmarks for London 1760, maker William Grundy, a noted tankard maker.
