    with well figured timber, two interior shelves and two drawers, removable doors, bronze fittings, lacquered interior
    200cm high, 109cm wide at top (110cm wide at base), approximately 51cm deep

    R & V Tregaskis, purchased mid-1990’s

    See Wang Shixiang “Classic Chinese Furniture”, p 213, pl 142 for a very similar Ming Ju wood cabinet; p18 “Ju wood…harder than most woods and plays an important role in Ming and early Qing furniture.”
