  A large and impressive Doulton Burslem ‘Rembrandt’ ware vase
  painted by Walter Nunn (act. 1897 - 1910), of squat spherical shape with short cylindrical neck, decorated with a portrait of Oliver Cromwell, a band encircles the shoulder inscribed: ‘Our Content Is Our Best Having’ beneath a still leaf border and above a band of golden rosettes. Glaze flake to rim and small frits to foot. Height 310.
