    each of slender ovoid form surmounted by a short waisted mouth, the sides richly decorated in colours and gilding with two large panels depicting different scenes of warriors in battle, and dignitaries and courtiers with women and children on pavilion terraces, interspersed with vignettes of vases of flowers, all reserved on brocaded grounds, inscribed on one vase Nihon Teikoku Tokyo Shiba Naiya (Imperial country, field of Shiba in Tokyo) (2)
