  70 Cal; 41½" barrel retained by 3 brass bands; plain lock plate with faint arsenal marks; mellow finish to brass regulation furniture dated 1838; grey finish to barrel, lock & fittings; wear to profiles & markings; butt plate tang has Imperial Russian eagle motif showing wear; f to g stock with repair to lock surround; complete with swivels & rod; action A/F. C.1840.
