  ENGLISH JENNINGS 1/2 STOCKED S/B FLINTLOCK FOWLER
  16G; 38½" barrel with inlaid silver front sight & struck with English & private proof marks; plain stepped lock fitted with a swan necked cock & integral pan; iron pineapple finial t/guard with a sml area of foliate engraving; slight wear to profiles; clear proofs & lock markings; dark grey patina to barrel, lock & butt plate; grey to furniture; f to g stock with mod bruising; even wear to chequered wrist, aged crack under lock plate & period inlet to lhs of forend; horn forend cap; complete with replaced rod; action slightly A/F (easily fixed). C.1800. A good fowler that would grade up.
