    RARE AUSTRALIAN INDEPENDANT COMPANY (COMMANDO) ISSUE FIGHTING KNIFE
    g. 7¼" clip pointed blade with single fullers & sharpened for field use; ricasso marked LITHGOW 1920. MADE IN LITHGOW 1943-44 FROM AN UNPROOFED PATT 1907 BAYONET; muzzle ring removed; grey finish to pommel which has had the mortise slot & locket filled in; Qld maple grips, the grooves were likely carved by its owner; complete with modified WWII scabbard with dark green finish; all complete; g. cond.
