  LEFT HAND DAGGER
  possibly German; 10¾" triangle section blade with pleasing, soft grey aged patina & sharp etching of foliate patterns to both sides from the ricasso to the point; iron down swept quillions etched in vine leaf patterns & grotesque faces to quillions; all steel hilt with oval shaped pommel, soft grey aged patina to quillions & hilt; all complete with orig steel scabbard with 2 hanging rings with faint etching & scalloped hanging ring suspensions. A rare & desirable left handed dagger. C.1650's.
