  38 Cal; 6 shot cylinder; 113mm (4½") barrel with 2 line Hartford address, struck with London proofs & COLT D.A. 38 etched panel to lhs; g. bore; Colt patent dates to lhs of frame; sharp profiles, clear address & markings; blue/grey finish to barrel & cylinder; soft case colours to frame, thin blue/grey to t/guard & back strap; vg Rampant Colt gutta percha bird's head grips; gwo & vg cond. C.1888.
