  31 Cal; 6 shot cylinders struck with Belgium proofs; 160mm (6¼") oct barrels marked COLT BREVETE; full coverage of bunches of grapes, vines & leaves engraved in relief to cylinder, frame, loading lever & ½ of the barrels; mellow finish to brass t/guard & b/strap with traces of orig silver finish & engraved in the same style; silver grey finish to all metal with dark background to relief engraving; sharp profiles, clear markings & engraving; one pc ebony grips; gwo & vg+ cond. Presented in their orig high quality brass bound mahogany case; lid escutcheon has a family crest of a male form holding an axe & the initials I.B.N.; partitioned in the French style & lined in velvet; with a full complement of vg accessories.
