Lot Description:AUSTRALIAN COLONIAL ISSUED & RETAILED ADAMS 1851 MODEL DRAGOON PERCUSSION REVOLVER
38 bore; 5 shot cylinder; 202mm (8") oct barrel with lhs of flat marked WALSH DUNN & CO MELBOURNE, rhs AGENTS FOR THE PROVINCE OF VICTORIA & top flat marked DEANE ADAMS & DEANE 30 KING WILLIAM STREET LONDON BRIDGE; spurless hammer; borderline engraved frame with a sml area of foliate panels; slight wear to profiles & clear markings; silvery grey patina to barrel, frame, cylinder & fittings; sml areas of pitting to cylinder; f to g chequered walnut grips & fitted with hinged butt cap; all complete; gwo & f. cond. A good piece of Victorian Colonial history, slightly down in condition but a scarce item. -
