Lot Description:U.S. HALLS PATENT B/L FLINTLOCK RIFLE
52 Cal; 32" barrel retained by 3 bands; p. bore; std front & rear sights; breech marked J.H.HALL H.FERRY US 1837 & D over 27; slight wear to profiles, clear breech markings; dark brown patina to barrel; patchy grey patina to action, cock & fittings; top jaw replaced as is breech block lever device; f. stock with numerous bruises & scratches, 1582 stamped to rhs; fair amount of pitting to iron butt plate & old dry rot at the butt & crack to the forend; all complete with rod & swivels; gwo & f. cond. A scarce rifle down in cond. -
