  ENGLISH RICHARDS FULL STOCKED FLINTLOCK TRAVELLING PISTOL
  18 bore; 8" iron swamped barrel struck with 1790 proofs; curved lock plate with foliate panel at the heel marked RICHARDS; fitted with a swan necked cock & semi-detached pan; mellow patina to plain brass furniture with skeleton side plate & oval wrist escutcheon; grey patina to lock, fittings & barrel which has a couple of darker areas; g. profiles; g. stock with minor bruising & a couple of fine aged cracks to forend; all complete; gwo & cond. C.1770.
