Her light filled loft on Mulberry Street was regularly the spot where she extended her hospitality and generosity as hostess opening her apartment to locals and visiting friends alike. Maryanne Voyazis, whom Ann got to know in Washington, captured her spirit perfectly when she described her this way: Ann epitomized New York; her boundless energy, passion, enthusiasm and glamour. Her ability to make anything seem possible and probable, her ability to live life to the full.
