  Artist estate represented by Roslyn Oxley9 gallery, Sydney; Ann Lewis initiated a practice at Gallery A Sydney termed Artists' choice, whereby established artists selected the work of those less known to the public. In the first Artists' choice of 1975, the painter Michael Taylor selected works by Rosalie Gascoigne, who had not exhibited in Sydney previously. Nancy Borlase commented on her appearance in this exhibition, 'In her instinctive feeling for the texture and colour of weather-worn discards, she evokes an image of the rural environment as valid, in its way, as the fresh-as-air paintings of Michael Taylor who nominated her. Paradoxically, these are the most satisfying but least ambitious works here.' (Nancy Borlase, The Bulletin, 17 May 1975.) The following year Rosalie Gascoigne was offered her first solo exhibition at Gallery A Sydney. This exhibition reflected a larger representation of her art, and assisted in establishing an audience for her work.
