  1835. Engraved map, un-coloured (335mm x 220mm). Bottom centre has inscription 'Dessine et Grave par Ambroise Tardieu'. Top right has 'Tom. 2. Pl. XLIII.' Mild wear, creasing and spotting. Housed in an album, including a coloured map (260mm x 210mm) depicting New Zealand, engraved by J Bartholomew F R G S. c1880. Map shows regions and distances to and from Sydney, to Panama and to Cape Horn. In lower left margin : Printed in colours by W H McFarlane, Edinburgh. In lower right margin : Engraved by J. Bartholomew, Edinr. Mild wear and browning. Plus a selection of plates chiefly depicting Oceanic scenes. A strong collection. All G.
