  with niello decoration, oblong shape, the hinged lid decorated with a vignette of four men carousing, the background with a gilded ‘seaweed’ pattern, the thumbpiece with pattern resembling dominoes, the sides and base with a basket weave pattern; gilt washed interior; crab mark .800 standard silver, maker’s mark LB for Louis Buret. 84x 38 x 22. Weight 115gms.
