  the tilting top with marquetry inlay of an eight pointed star surrounded by eight other various star patterns on a background of figured black walnut, the tilting top with a carved foliate frieze, raised on a tapering ring turned column issuing from a tripod base carved with Edelweiss flowers and acanthus leaves. Diameter 800, height 740.
