  Rare Edwardian mahogany elevated bureau desk
  "The Eclipse", London, Brand Patent No.s 27871 & 7254. The envelope top open and mechanism raises a lift top writing slope and multi section compartment which elevates when writing slope is slid forward. Beneath are 3 drawers to one side and 3 false drawer fronts on the other. Writing slope and opened top on both sides have leather insert surfaces. Dimensions when opened: 104cm wide, 61cm deep,93cm high
