An old Mali Bambara doll with short squat legs
jutting posterior, arms hanging free of the body and proudly pointing breasts, heavy shoulders support a long neck and overlarge helmeted head, blackened glossy patina. Height 300. These dolls were given to young girls as fertility charms.
