Lot Description:A 19thC Fraser of London brass navigator's marking protractor
with a single pivoted marking arm, the protractor with full 360 degrees engraved markings, in original shaped mahogany case. Diameter 330. Such an instrument was useful at sea when setting an accurate bearing line even during periods of very rough seas. -
