  including one signed to mount 'Akers & Co.' with printed details 'Bernborough/ Emborough - Bern Maid/ (W. Briscoe)'; others include two supplements to 'Leader', 1946, all framed (6) Largest overall 47cm x 41cm
• Notes:
  Bernborough was born in Toowoomba and his early racing career was in Queensland. He later moved south and achieved a run of 15 consecutive wins. In 1946, as a six year old he won the Doomben 10000 and the Doomben Cup carrying huge weights of 65.5kg and 68.5kg respectively. From a total of 40 starts, Bernborough had 26 wins and two 2nds. He was one of five inaugural inductees to the Racing Hall of Fame.
