Lot Description:A large Ming-style blue and white vase, 20th century
of baluster form surmounted by a tall waisted neck set with double loop handles, painted in bright blue with simulated 'heaping and piling' with a band of the Eight Buddhist Emblems above a continuous lotus scroll, the neck decorated with a band of upright plantain leaves and ruyi-head border between bands of waves, the high flared foot encircled with a lingzhi fungus scroll
63cm high -
Notes:Condition: Slight surface wear, chips to the edge of the footrim, firing cracks around handles, otherwise generally good condition.
