Vol.VII of Bean's Official History of Australia in the War of 1914-1918, Sydney, Angus & Robertson, 1923, 1st edition, b/w plates & maps, signed by Lord Allenby, H.S.Gullett (20.3.27) & Harry Chauvel (19.4.28) on fly leaf, from the library of Brigadier Arthur J.Mills of Australian Light Horse WW1, burgundy cloth, gilt spines, some wear to edges, preserved in timber case with AIF rising sun badge mounted on top, label inside case reads 'made from wood from The Beechworth Courthouse built in 1857-58 where Ned Kelly was tried' + HILL, A.J. Chauvel of the Light Horse, MUP, 1978, good condition in dust jacket
