• Notes:
  Winner of the Prix de Rome in 1861 and the Grand Medal of Honor of the Paris Salon in 1875, Le Febvre is renowned in Australia for his portrait of Chloe, the rather 'hippy, haughty nude', which has hung in Young & Jackson's Hotel in Melbourne since 1908.
