    this elegant shaped bowl in the form of a Frigate Bird was carved from hardwood and has fine shell inlay decoration. Ancestral Offering Bowls like this were kept in the sacred Canoe House were food was left for the ancestors.

Tuna is one of the most important fishes for food in the Solomon Islands.
