kneeling with his left knee raised, wearing his waraji and weaving the circular basket held in his left hand, surrounded by numerous baskets, drums, masks, toys and other wares of various shapes and sizes, some with polychrome and mother-of-pearl details, his face with well defined features and hair drawn into a topknot, and his clothes incised with diaper patterns all picked out in black, signed on a rectangular lacquer reserve Eitoku, lacquered wood stand (2)
