  painted by Gladys Laycock (1882 ñ 1958). Rectangular 9ct gold frame; elderly gentleman with white hair and beard. Information in folder.
  Size approx 11 x 8cm.
• Provenance:
  Janet Niven, Woollahra, 28.10.1993. Gladys Laycock was a Sydney artist who studied in London and Paris. Working with watercolour and pastel, she was a miniaturist painter and portraitist. She exhibited with exhibited with the Royal Art Society, Sydney's Women Painters Exhibition, and London's Society of Women Artists' Exhibition.
