  A Danish royal portrait silver gilt and enamel trinket box, Anton Michelsen, Copenhagen, 1904
  the plain box with a satin finish featuring a portrait medallion of Christian IX of Denmark, hallmarked to interior and base also with assayer mark of Christian F. Heise
  2.5cm high, 6cm wide, 7.5cm deep, 120gms
  Please note that the enamel medallion has some evident rippling to the right hand side o the medallion suggesting repair.

  The firm of Anton Michelsen was one of the most important Danish jewellery families with Anton's successor, son Carl, serving as jeweller to the Danish court from 1880 onwards.
