Lot Description:The Cased Word
Old Bible hardly used, in old wooden book case. Superb hand-coloured engraved plates (approximately 56). Contemporary full calf binding with some general wear and rubbing. Contents clean and tight, but appears fairly unread. Original marbled yellow/ blue end papers. F. Plates mostly clean, but some printed on different papers. No date, but Copac states 1882 refer pp992, 284. -
