  of rectangular form, set with a central ivory panel, finely painted with a miniature scene depicting a classical architectural building with figures, surrounded by a gilt border, with scroll work to corners, on a papier-mache body, opening to 1841 calendar, with original retail label, the whole locking with ivory topped pencil, 9.5cm x 6cm
