    A Meissen bird decorated plate, 1852-1860 period
    with a gilt edged rim and centred with three colourful birds in a garden setting, five insects to the rim, crossed swords mark underside
    23.5cm diameter
  • Notes:
    Condition: This item has a repair to the underside of the rim. At the time of manufacture the plate was declared unsuitable for tableware bearing the characteristic two slash mark across the batons used only during the 1852-1870 period.
