  A Royal Worcester 'Stuart rose' jar and cover by William Jarman, 1912
  the high shouldered lobed jar with a moulded and pierced cover, decorated with magenta and pink roses against a soft cream and autumnal ground, signed W.E Jarman to upper body, puce backstamp and shape number 1312 underside

• Notes:
  Condition: The jar body is in good condition throughout. The cover is consistent with shape 1312, however this particular cover is not original to this jar, presenting with a satin blush ivory glaze with brighter gilding compared to the glossier, darker toned body. The cover has gilding losses and rub marks and a small glaze over nick to the internal rim (probably a manufacturing fault). Please note that there are nine dots below the circle to the backstamp, not a star and eight dots.
