  ovoid with high set bracket handles with acanthus terminals and a moulded neck and base with shot colours picked out in gilt, the body decorated with sailing boats on choppy seas, signed H. Stinton lower right, drilled to base for a lamp conversion, puce backstamp and shape number 2425 underside

  Condition: This item is in very good condition but the base has been drilled with a 1cm diameter hole for a lamp conversion hence the approximate date only.
