    Sydenham, Flower. A synopsis or view of the general works of Plato. Volume One comprises of The Banquet; a dialogue concerning love, 1761, The Greater Hippas: a dialogue concerning the beautiful, 1771, The Lesser Hippas: a dialogue concerning voluntary and involuntary error, 1761 and A Dissertation on the Doctrine of Heraclitus, 1775. Volume Two: The First Alcibiades, a dialgoue concerning human nature, 1773. The Second Alcibiades; a dialogue concerning prayer, 1776. IO; a dialogue concerning poetry, the second edition corrected and ammended, 1768. Volume three: Philebus, a dialogue concerning the chief good of man, the first part, 1779 and second part, 1780. Volume four: Onomasticon theologicum; or, an essay on the divine names, according to the platonic philosophy. 1784. First few pages foxed. Large quarto, all volumes bound in half tan leather binding with marbled boards (rubbed), all rebound. All spines slightly water marked.
