• Notes:
  This old Basket Hook in the form of an ancestor's face and incised designs with a large hook at the bottom. Basket Hooks were widely used by people to keep rats from stealing their food, the hook was hung from a string from the rafter in the house and woven bags holding food were hung on the hook, this made it impossible for the rats or mice to get done the rope to the bags of food.
