both on custom stands. Both of these Sepik Sculptures has great charm, the figure is carved wearing a ceremonial head ornament and his body has incised designs on his legs, chest & back. The Sepik Carvers Mallet with a finely carved ancestors face that looks up at the artis while he is working, the back shows the long use as a carver's mallet.
