  Branz is extraordinarily versatile in his work, from nudes to landscapes , still life to architecture . His pictures are created in his imagination and are already finished before he presses the shutter button. The old school of photography comes in handy in the digital world; a well-founded knowledge of light and printing techniques gives his photographs a special depth. During the 1990s he was a regular visitor to Arles, where he exhibited at Café Van Gogh alongside Peter Lindbergh, Helmut Newton and Richard Avedon. Werner Branz produces and provokes. His works are international ambassadors of his world: Cologne, Dubai, Abu Dabi, Arles, Vienna, Singapore, Ibiza, Paris, Las Vegas, Norway, Dubai, New York, Miami, Sydney, San Francisco, & in his home town of Rankweil, Bregenz, Feldkirch, Lindau and Vaduz. His works can now be found in the Russian Museum in St. Petersburg, in the Museum of Contemporary Art Sydney and in the Angerlehner Museum, among others .
