    A felspathic stoneware Castleford-type teapot, 19th century
    of Neoclassical oval 'silver shape' with a domed lid and conforming stand, sprigged stiff leaf borders to the collar and base, laurel pendants and a classical maiden to one face and an allegorical figure with a bird of prey to the other, with overglaze blue bands, crossed blue mark to base, relief mark 17
