    A Royal Worcester cobalt ground covered vase by Harry Davis, circa 1905
    the ovoid vase with moulded handles and mask head mounts raised on a waisted socle to a circular base, decorated with a romantic vista enclosed by elaborate raised gilding, signed H Davis lower left of image, green backstamp underside with rubbed date marks, body shape 2401, registration number 446194

  • Notes:
    Condition: This item is in very good condition throughout with no evidence of damage, cracks, glaze/gilding loss or professional repair. However please note the the internal lip of the lid shows patches of irregular luminescence under black light. The main decoration and raised gilding are both fine. There is a small abrasion to the gilt foot rim.
