Lot Description:(The Ashes) 1930 Photograph Album of Trip to England
Collection of b/w photographs compiled by Phyllis Edna King of Adelaide in 1930 whilst on a trip with her family prior to her 1933 marriage to Mervyn Wyke Evans. The group sailed on the 'Otranto" to England, also visiting France & Switzerland. Includes three images of the 1930 Ashes, two from 3rd Test in Leeds captioned 'England Fielding Bradman 300' & 'Australia goes into field', the third from the 5th test captioned 'Australia batting Fifth Test at Oval', good condition [Approx.120 photographs]
