this captivating Janus sculpture shows the freedom of Sepik River artists to follow their wildest dreams in carving their sculptures, you can't help but also notice the artists sense of humour. This eccentric figure comprises 2 large heads back-to-back, the long neck becomes the torso of both heads, the legs on face forward one way as do the male genitals & buttocks, it's like someone placed a face or a mask on the back of the ancestor. The photos show both amazing sides of this figure.
