Lot Description:Two Antique Clay Votives, Thailand, from the 10th and 19th Century
the Votive in the metal & plastic case was bought long ago from the late Mr Cito Cessna at Parkham Place Gallery in Sydney and it was dated at 10th Century and is in the Lampung Northern Thailand style. You can see the iconography is a very old style and the clay is significantly old. The other Clay Votive without the case was a 19th Century example also from Northern Thailand depicting three sitting Buddha's or Monks with a row of Stipa or Pagoda in front of them.
