    A Fine Old and Large Japanese Ceramic Tokkuri Sake Bottle, Japan 19th Century
    created in Japan during the Edo -Meiji Period, this sake bottle attracts our attention with its fine brown monochrome glaze and topped with a flaring lip sitting above a generous body adorned with a bumpy textured surface This type of sake jug was one of the first recyclables in that it could be returned to the sake company that made it and be refilled. It is all handmade and fired at high temperatures for lasting durability. It makes an amazing vase!
