Notes:Born in Binjai Kabupaten Langkat, Sumatra in 1929 & dying in Denpasar in 2003, Misran was a self taught, who artist moved to Bali in 1966. He was inspired by the culture & scenes of rustic village life. His oil paintings are full of texture, subtle colour & charming innocence
