Notes:Percival was a high school teacher before he enlisted with the A.I.F. to fight in World War I. In 1918, he was transferred to the Education Service and then to the War Records Section in London. He contributed cartoons to a paper for troops and even had a cartoon published in London Punch. In August 1924, he became the principal cartoonist for the Bulletin, taking over from Norman Lindsay. He also contributed to the Australian Woman’s Mirror. During the forties, Percival illustrated children’s books. His works are rarely found on the market.
