  The Sketchbook of Lord Inverurie, Ian Douglas Montagu Keith-Falconer (1877 - 1897)
  son of Lord Kintore, Governor of South Australia from 1889 - 1895. Titled “Ian’s Early Sketches”, the bound volume bears a tipped-in certificate on the inside front cover, dated June 1890, advising that “Lord Douglas Montagu Inverurie” had passed a satisfactory examination in Model Drawing conducted by the Public Library, Museum and Art Gallery of South Australia. The album contains 39 tipped-in watercolour paintings and sketches, several annotated and dated between 1893 and 1897, being mostly scenes in Scotland and en route to or from Australia.
