    19th Century Polychrome Scrimshaw Whale's Tooth
    by the Britannia Engraver, first half of the 19th Century, titled to lower edge 'Daniel the Fourth of London', the obverse depicting the whaleship Daniel IV on fire at sea with loose rigging, inset with red sealing wax as flames, the reverse titled 'Ranger of London' and depicts the ship at full sail with red sealing wax inset to flags and figurehead, the whole set between a foliate vine border encircling the tip and base, length 19cm
