  handmade in Italy, leather soles & heels, stamp to interior
• References:
  Alberto Dal CÚ (1907- produced shoes which epitomize the severe Italian stiletto of the late 1950s. When he moved to Rome he first opened a bespoke shoe shop in Via Crispi 35, then, in 1952, he moved to Porta Pinciana and soon became very popular among the stars and celebrities of those times. Among Dal Co's clients there were also Sofia Loren, Gina Lollobrigida, Linda Christian, Rita Hayworth, Soraya and Brigitte Bardot.
