Lot Description:19th Century Australian Colonial Silver 'Sunbury Cup,' attributed to Edward Fischer
of neoclassical amphora form, the body beautifully raised with a scene of standing greyhound to one side and a pair of running greyhounds verso, flanked by classical scroll handles and accented in Greek key borders and floral sprays, inscribed 'NICODEMUS Winner Of The Sunbury Cup, Being The First Run For In The Colony, Owned and Bred By Frederick Row, 1873,' mounted on a Tasmanian blackwood plinth, height 27cm and 35.5cm (including stand) -
